CREW LEAD FOR LAWN MAINTENANCE

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Crew Lead to oversee lawn maintenance operations and lead a team of skilled landscape professionals. This energetic role involves supervising daily landscaping activities, ensuring high-quality lawn care, and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks, mentoring team members, and ensuring safety standards are met—all while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities

• Ability to speak English and Spanish
• Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping and lawn care technicians to complete daily maintenance tasks efficiently and to high standards
• Assign work duties based on skill levels and project requirements, ensuring timely completion of projects
• Monitor safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety guidelines during operations involving equipment, construction, or tree care
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee customer satisfaction and landscape excellence
• Provide training, mentorship, and support to crew members to develop their skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, irrigation, gardening, and related areas
• Coordinate with clients or supervisors to understand project specifications and address any onsite concerns promptly
• Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; report any maintenance needs or issues immediately

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Supervising experience in outdoor or construction environments with the ability to lead teams effectively
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including irrigation systems, tree care, construction projects, and general garden management
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide team members
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with safety standards related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments
• Passion for creating beautiful landscapes while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
