Responsibilities

• Safely ascend trees using rigging techniques, harnesses, and climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
• Operate bucket trucks, and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas with precision and safety.
• Conduct tree care assessments, including identifying hazards and recommending appropriate maintenance actions.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, shrub trimming, and general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics.
• Execute rigging procedures for the safe removal of branches or entire trees while minimizing impact on surrounding landscapes.
• Assist with planting, transplanting, or supporting new growth initiatives in horticultural projects.
• Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment regularly and following all safety protocols during climbing and operation activities.

Skills

• At least 4 years experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a passion for tree care.
• Strong knowledge of tree trimming techniques, pruning methods, and overall tree health management.
• Skilled in rigging procedures for safe tree removal or branch lowering operations.
• Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and chippers safely and effectively.
• Ability to perform lawn care tasks and support landscape maintenance projects as needed.
• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to climb trees confidently while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
