Duties

• Lead and supervise a crew in executing landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticultural tasks with precision and enthusiasm
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
• Oversee landscape construction activities including planting, irrigation installation, tree care, and hardscape work
• Maintain safety standards by conducting regular site inspections and promoting safe work practices among team members
• Provide mentorship and training to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment use, and maintenance procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met and expectations exceeded
• Manage equipment inventory, perform routine maintenance, and ensure tools are used responsibly and efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of lawn care and garden management
• Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, gardening techniques, and general landscape construction methods
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients confidently
