Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, assigning daily tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, and irrigation system installation and repairs
• Coordinate landscaping and construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
• Conduct tree care and gardening tasks, including planting, trimming, fertilizing, and pest control
• Monitor equipment usage and perform routine maintenance to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and best practices
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs and ensure customer satisfaction

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance fields
• Strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and irrigation systems
• Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls
• Experience with tree care techniques including pruning, cabling, or removal
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance procedures for landscaping equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
