Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of lawn care and landscaping technicians to complete daily tasks efficiently and to company standards
• Plan and assign work schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects including mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, and general landscape maintenance
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during operations and conduct regular safety briefings with team members
• Perform quality checks on completed work to guarantee it meets client expectations and industry standards
• Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed to ensure operational readiness
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscape maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and customer service skills
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their outdoor spaces

Skills

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields with a focus on lawn care and landscaping
• Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead teams confidently and motivate others
• Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor projects and tree care techniques
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, garden design, plant health care, and general landscape maintenance
• Excellent leadership skills combined with clear communication abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to equipment or landscape problems quickly and effectively
• Commitment to safety standards and best practices in outdoor work environments
