Crew Leader, Lawn Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily lawn maintenance, landscaping, gardening, and horticulture activities for your crew
• Lead team members in performing landscape installation, pruning, planting, irrigation setup, and tree care with precision and safety
• Ensure all work adheres to company standards, safety protocols, and client specifications
• Provide clear instructions and training to crew members on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices in landscaping and construction
• Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues on-site, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of lawn care, garden aesthetics, and overall site appearance
• Foster a positive team environment by motivating crew members, promoting teamwork, and supporting professional development

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or related outdoor services
• Strong background in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture or construction projects involving outdoor environments
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, and general maintenance practices
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively and ensure safety compliance
• Familiarity with equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members alike
