Crew Leader, Mowing

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping professionals to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance efficiently and safely.
• Maintain high standards of lawn care and landscape aesthetics by applying best practices in turf management.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and backpack blowers.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 or more years of foreman experience on a mow team.
• Must be proficient in truck and trailer operation.
• Must be detailed oriented in lawn care operations. Clean and sharp edging along curbs and hardscaping, proper trimming around trees. Proper turning techniques on zero turn mowers to avoid turfing lawns. Adjusting mower deck heights to conform to uneven terrain.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to landscape operations and equipment handling.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
