Position Summary
The Crew Lead oversees a small team on job sites, ensuring daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role does not require prior landscaping experience — strong management skills, reliability, and the ability to learn quickly are key. The Crew Lead works hands-on with the team while coordinating workflow, equipment, and communication with management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a crew of 2–5 team members, providing clear instructions and daily task assignments.
- Work alongside the crew on installations, maintenance tasks, or other physical labor as needed.
- Manage tools, vehicles, and materials — ensuring equipment is maintained, organized, and used safely.
- Maintain quality control on all projects and ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Enforce company safety standards and encourage proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation.
- Track job progress, materials, and crew hours; complete daily or weekly reporting.
- Communicate effectively with management and, when needed, with clients or vendors.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to strengthen skills and maintain performance standards.
- Other dues as assigned by management.

Experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Management experience leading a team of laborers in landscaping or a similar field
- Reliable transportation to the branch location or first job site each day
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check
- Strong English communication skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and uphold safety standards

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
