Crew member

Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This position focuses on high-quality landscape maintenance, ecological stewardship, and native habitat care throughout the Portland area.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in producing quality work, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, and blowing
• Prune ornamental shrubs, small trees, and native plantings
• Assist with seasonal cleanups, leaf removal, and debris hauling
• Support native habitat restoration and invasive species management
• Install mulch, compost, gravel, and plants as needed
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Safely operate landscaping tools and equipment
• Communicate professionally with crew members and clients when needed

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
