Crew Member (Cashier & Kitchen Support)

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the cashier station using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food orders accurately while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support food preparation tasks including assembling menu items, portioning ingredients, and ensuring food quality meets company standards.
• Assist in kitchen operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and managing food handling responsibilities to promote a clean and safe environment.
• Engage with customers through upselling techniques to boost sales of featured items or add-ons, enhancing their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and service counters to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing sales calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
