The Lover’s Bite is a chef-driven, fully gluten-free food trailer located in downtown Clayton—serving up bold bites with a wink and a little heat. We’re looking for a versatile Crew Member to help us sling food, charm guests, and keep the energy (and fryer) hot.

What You’ll Do:

• Prep and cook menu items to order with accuracy and care
• Take orders at the window with warmth, clarity, and good humor
• Handle payment transactions (cash and POS) quickly and securely
• Keep the trailer clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
• Restock, label, and assist with opening/closing duties
• Follow strict gluten-free protocols to ensure guest safety
• Move with urgency in a fast-paced, close-quarters environment
• Represent The Lover’s Bite with pride, personality, and a little sass

What We’re Looking For:

• Food service or kitchen experience preferred (but we’ll train the right person)
• Friendly, efficient, and cool under pressure
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Punctual, reliable, and down to hustle as part of a tight-knit team
• Bonus if you’re gluten-free savvy or celiac-aware

Compensation:

• $8/hour base pay
• Guaranteed minimum of $12/hour after tip share
