Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and landscape installation projects.
• Maintain gardens by watering, fertilizing, weed control, and pest management to promote healthy growth.
• Execute landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, aerating, and soil preparation.
• Operate equipment like excavators and snow plows for site preparation or seasonal cleanup.
• Assist with hardscape projects including patio installation, retaining walls, and walkway construction.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to enhance landscape aesthetics and safety.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
• Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures during construction or landscape tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials is essential.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques related to landscaping, irrigation systems, tree care, or hardscape installation.
