Job Summary

HOA Organizers, Inc is seeking a reliable and hardworking Crew Member to join our team. This position works with a supervisor and is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the community’s lake, facilities, and landscaped grounds. Work will primarily take place outdoors in a peaceful, natural setting.

Malibou Lake Mountain Club is seeking an experienced landscaping professional to help maintain and

enhance one of Southern California's most beautiful private lakeside communities.

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with landscaping and grounds maintenance

experience, irrigation knowledge, a good driving record, and leadership potential. The ideal candidate takes

pride in maintaining attractive outdoor spaces, enjoys working outdoors, and is looking for stable, year-

round employment with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

This position plays an important role in maintaining the community's landscaped grounds, lakefront areas,

facilities, and common areas. For the right individual, this position offers a clear path toward a future

Landscaping Supervisor role.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance

Maintain landscaped grounds, pathways, lakefront areas, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.

Perform brush clearance, weed control, pruning, trimming, mulching, and general landscape

beautification.

Operate landscaping equipment including trimmers, blowers, mowers, chainsaws, and tow-behind

equipment.

Assist with irrigation system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Perform seasonal planting, leaf removal, storm preparation, and post-storm cleanup.

Facility Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on community buildings and facilities.

Assist with painting, patching, light carpentry, plumbing repairs, and general upkeep.

Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including the clubhouse, pool, and

tennis courts.

Assist with community event setup and breakdown.

Lake & Waterfront Maintenance

Remove debris and litter from lakefront areas, common areas, and the water surface.

Monitor and report lake conditions, including water quality concerns.

Assist with lake improvement projects, shoreline maintenance, and erosion-control efforts.

Coordinate with contractors performing aquatic management and environmental services.

Additional Duties

Conduct routine inspections of grounds, facilities, vehicles, and equipment.

Operate community vehicles and equipment safely.

Respond to maintenance requests from management.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Landscaping, groundskeeping, irrigation, maintenance, or related experience.

Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools.

Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree and shrub care, and landscape maintenance practices.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to swim.

Valid California driver's license with a good driving record required.

Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
