Crib Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Crib Attendant to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the storage, organization, and distribution of materials within the warehouse environment. Your expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and materials handling will ensure smooth operations, accurate stock levels, and efficient order fulfillment. Duties

• Organize and maintain inventory within the crib area, ensuring proper stocking and storage practices in accordance with warehouse management systems.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Conduct regular stock counts, data collection, and analysis to identify discrepancies or stock shortages.
• Support procurement processes by sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing contracts to optimize costs and delivery times.
• Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or AS400 for inventory management to streamline operations.
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory issues or process inefficiencies to implement continuous process improvements.
• Operate materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials movement.
• Collaborate with logistics teams on order fulfillment, shipping & receiving schedules, and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, materials management activities, and compliance documentation for audit purposes.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory control, or supply chain management within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like SAP or AS400.
• Familiarity with demand planning, logistics coordination, shipping & receiving procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and compliance standards.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on safety protocols at all times.
