We are assisting a boutique law firm in Phoenix in their search for a Criminal Defense Attorney. Your Day-to-Day
- Manage a caseload of criminal defense matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies
- Represent clients at all stages—arraignments, pre-trials, evidentiary hearings, trials, and sentencing
- Draft persuasive motions, legal briefs, and case strategy documents
- Conduct investigations, analyze evidence, and collaborate on defense strategy
- Communicate clearly and often with clients, keeping them informed and empowered
- Work hand-in-hand with the firm owner and paraprofessional to move cases forward with precision and purpose
Who You Are
- A licensed Arizona attorney (in good standing)
- 1–3 years of experience in criminal defense or litigation preferred, however talent, grit, and courtroom presence matter more than a specific number
- You’re not afraid to stand in front of a judge or jury
- You write clearly, argue confidently, and listen deeply
- You thrive in a fast-paced, and high-responsibility environment
- You believe in second chances and in fighting hard for people who need a voice
