What You’ll Do:

• Handle felony, misdemeanor, and complex cases
• Represent clients in state courts (and federal court if licensed)
• Build strategy, draft motions, and own the courtroom

Who You Are:

• Licensed in Virginia
• 3+ years of criminal trial experience (jury and felony preferred)
• Former prosecutors welcome
• Spanish fluency or federal court admission is a plus

$115,000+ annually

• Lead Client Strategy: Meet with clients—whether in our office or at detention centers—to understand their situation, assess legal options, and craft winning case strategies.
• Own Your Caseload: Manage a diverse docket of misdemeanor and felony cases from intake through resolution, ensuring every client receives exceptional representation.
• Command the Courtroom: Appear confidently at hearings and trials across Northern Virginia, advocating persuasively on behalf of clients before judges and juries.
• Deliver Excellence in Advocacy: Prepare, file, and argue motions, memoranda, and other key legal documents, ensuring every filing strengthens the defense and advances client goals.

• Licensed to Practice Law in Virginia.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal defense is preferred, which should include handling felony cases and conducting jury trials.
