Elbaz & Elbaz is seeking a dedicated, highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing criminal defense law firm. We represent clients facing serious felony and misdemeanor charges across Georgia and are committed to delivering aggressive, strategic, and compassionate legal advocacy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth legal research using LexisNexis and related tools to support case preparation and trial strategy
• Draft, review, and file motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda with accuracy and clarity
• Assist with case management, including organizing discovery, maintaining case files, managing deadlines, and client communication
• Participate in client consultations and provide thoughtful, strategic legal guidance
• Prepare for and assist in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials
• Support negotiation efforts with prosecutors to secure favorable resolutions
• Stay current on developments in Georgia criminal law and procedure
• Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to ensure excellent client service and efficient workflow

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior criminal defense experience preferred, but not required
• Experience working in a law firm or litigation environment is a plus
• Strong legal research and analytical skills; proficiency in LexisNexis preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail while managing multiple cases
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional growth
• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia (or awaiting bar results, depending on how you want to frame it)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
