Crisis Intervention Trainer

The Trainer/Presenter will facilitate community trainings based on the presenter’s expertise, language, and cultural competencies. The trainings/curriculum are already established, and the trainer will be provided teaching notes to help guide the in-person, live trainings for traditional and non-traditional first responders. New trainings are also being developed as the needs arise, and the Trainer will be invited to participate in the development process. The Trainer is responsible for providing a robust training experience for attendees = to meet community requests and program needs in-person. We will provide additional training support and certification for some trainings as needed.

Crisis Intervention Trainer Minimum Qualifications:
Trainer/Presenter may come from one of the following job descriptions:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences or related field.
2. Working with allied professionals and the ability to interface with industry contacts is preferred.
3. Proficiency and regular interaction with Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Google applications is required.
4. Experience with the following roles is preferred: Law Enforcement, Dispatch, Corrections, Probation, Parole, Fire Fighter, or Paramedic.
Salary: Hourly pay rate is $23.00 to $24.15. The actual hourly rate may vary based on experience, equity, market, and Agency considerations.
