Critical Care Consultant

A reputed hospital in Kurnool is seeking an experienced Critical Care Consultant to manage ICU operations, provide acute care, and lead critical care protocols. The role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and expertise in handling critical and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage adult ICU patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and resuscitation.
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with surgical and medical teams.
• Perform emergency procedures as required (intubation, central lines, arterial lines, etc.).
• Ensure evidence-based critical care practices and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Supervise junior doctors, nurses, and ICU staff.
• Provide timely updates and counselling to patient families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesia, Pulmonology, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Fellowship (IDCCM/DrNB) in Critical Care.
• Valid medical registration.
• Prior ICU or critical care experience preferred.
