$59.00 - $88.50Atrium Health, one of the most comprehensive public, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the nation, is actively recruiting an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Atrium Health Pineville. Our facility is a rapidly growing community hospital with 394 beds. The hospital is located in Pineville, NC, 14 miles south of the city, just northeast of the South Carolina border.
Our critical care professionals strive to provide world-class comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients. Our expert critical care team of physicians and advanced practice providers manage patients within our specialty intensive care units: cardiac medical ICU, cardiothoracic surgical ICU, medical ICU, and surgical ICU. Attending Intensivists provide supervision at our busy medical center that includes a 45 bed adult ICU unit. NP and PA duties include daily management and documentation of complicated critically ill medical and surgical patients. Duties also include admission directly from the operating room and management of hemodynamically complex, post op cardiac surgery patients as well as admission hemodynamically complex patients directly from the interventional cardiac lab. Familiarity with mechanical support deices i.e. IABP and Impella is required. Experience with procedures including but not limited to central venous and arterial vascular access is preferred. Our site hosts an advanced practice provider fellowship in critical care.
