Critical Care / Intensivist Specialist

Apex Health Qatar is seeking for a skilled and motivated critical care specialist.

Job Summary

Responsible to provide the diagnosis, treatment and support of critically ill and injured patients, particularly trauma victims and patients with multiple organ dysfunction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Doctor of Medicine.
• Critical Care Board.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in governmental/ teaching healthcare facilities.
• Preferable candidates with dataflow or prometric exam.

Job Responsibilities 1

1. To provide patient support for hemodynamic instability (hypertension/hypotension), airway or respiratory compromise (such as ventilator support), acute renal failure, potentially lethal cardiac dysrhythmias, and frequently the cumulative effects of multiple organ system failure.
2. Conducts rounds and undertakes supervision of treatment of the inpatients as well as screening and examination of the outpatients.
3. Organizing, monitoring, and maintaining the clinical services provided within the department in order to achieve the highest possible level of patient care with optimum utilization of the available resources.
4. Assumes direct responsibility for the patients under his/her medical attendance in the assigned unit.
