Critical Care Transport Nurse

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by Medical Transport Medical Director(s). The Transport Nurse will be responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of Medical Transport and assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum. This position will be a Transport Nurse on Ground Ambulances.


What qualifications you will need
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • (CFRN) Certified Flight Registered Nurse must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
    • (DL) Driver License
    • (RN) Registered Nurse
    • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
    • Advanced Provider Course ITLS, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • (CEN) Certified Emergency Registered Nurse, or (CCRN) Critical Care Registered Nurse (Adult) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
    • Bachelors Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree must be obtained within 3 years of employment start date
  • No Travel Required
