Description:
This part-time hourly role will focus on providing technical leadership and support for the development of the institutions CRM (Slate for Student Success). The position plays a key role in advancing retention and student success initiatives across the student lifecycle. Through close collaboration with academic and student life departments, this role will help enhance institutional processes, streamline communication and improve data collection and sharing – ultimately contributing to a more cohesive and impactful student experience. The position will be housed in the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, while working broadly across the campus. The position is federally grant-funded through Sept. 30, 2026, with the possibility of the position being extended beyond the grant funding.
Essential Responsibilities:

Exhibits a strong understanding of student engagement and success factors, exercising discretion and independent judgement in matters of data integrity and the student life cycle.

Leads the design and implementation of innovative CRM solutions to enhance retention, streamline student support processes, and improve operational efficiency.

Develops and manages student success reporting to inform strategic decisions, with a focus on Title III grant objectives.

Partners with Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Marketing and Communication to support initiatives targeting first-year and at-risk populations including advising, orientation, financial aid, and course registration.

Oversees CRM workflows, including queries, forms, campaigns, automated communications, and scheduling tools to ensure seamless coordination of services and effective communication with students.

Creates training resources for staff and faculty, maintains user permissions in compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, and institutional policies and remains current with CRM best practices to guide platform growth.

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the complexities of a comprehensive CRM system, preferably Technolutions Slate.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, or an equivalent level of proven experience with similar employment tasks.

Ability to manage and track data to improve the quality and impact of student support.

Demonstrated effective communication both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work with diverse groups of people to accomplish complex tasks.

Possess strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

2-4 years of experience in configuring, developing, and implementing functional requirements within a CRM platform; experience with Slate for Student Success and Slate Fundamentals or Professional Certification preferred

Experience with system integration, operation, and data management, including knowledge of HTML and CSS

Experience providing technical support to a college with a strong understanding of retention and student success processes.
