Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient recovery during surgical procedures.

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

  • Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient readiness for anesthesia.

  • Stay updated with the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies.

  • Provide post-operative care and pain management for patients.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for all anesthesia procedures.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

  • Evaluate and improve anesthesia processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Monitor and manage anesthesia equipment to ensure functionality.

  • Contribute to the development of anesthesia protocols and guidelines.

  • Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted CRNA certification and state license.

  • Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in anesthesia administration in a surgical setting.

  • Proficiency in using anesthesia monitoring and management equipment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate and improve anesthesia processes.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
