This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing anesthesia services for a wide range of procedures, including interventional pain management, podiatry, and orthopedic surgeries. Responsibilities

  • Assess patients pre-operatively by reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and evaluating vital signs to determine anesthesia needs.
  • Administer anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures in an ASC settingvia injections or inhalation, ensuring precise dosing and monitoring for adverse reactions
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient's condition and procedure requirements.
  • Manage airway patency through advanced airway management techniques, including intubation and ventilation support.
  • Adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout surgeries or procedures to maintain patient stability and comfort.
  • Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively
  • Provide post-anesthesia care by assessing recovery status, managing pain with appropriate medications, and ensuring safe transfer to recovery units or hospital wards.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate seamless perioperative care aligned with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices through ongoing education and training in areas like pain management, airway management, and specialized populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics.
  • Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology is essential for safe anesthesia delivery.
  • Strong patient assessment skills enable accurate evaluation of health status before procedures.
  • Expertise in airway management techniques ensures airway security during anesthesia administration.
  • Ability to monitor vital signs meticulously while adjusting anesthesia levels accordingly for optimal patient safety.
  • Familiarity with ASC protocols, HIPAA compliance standards, and pain management strategies supports high-quality care delivery.
  • Qualifications
  • Current CRNA certification
  • Active RN and APRN license in Florida
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Pay: $110.00 - $120.00 per hour
