Roles & Responsibilities:
Whether joining as a CRNA or a CAA, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality anesthesia care:
- Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive pre-operative evaluations and assist in selecting anesthetic plans.
- Anesthesia Administration: Safely administer anesthetics and perform essential procedures (IV insertion, intubation, airway management).
- Intraoperative Management: Monitor and interpret patient data across all age groups to protect vital organ functions.
- Patient Recovery: Conduct thorough post-operative evaluations and monitor patient recovery.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain anesthesia equipment in peak condition and ensure meticulous accounting of controlled substances.
Qualifications:
For CRNAs:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
For CAAs:
- Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
- Must hold or be eligible for a license to practice in the State of Ohio.
Requirements for Both:
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- AHA PALS certification is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to a collaborative team environment.
