Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Government of Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO owns and operates Pakistan’s most modern refinery, over 2,000 kms of pipeline network, strategic storage facilities and marketing operations. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions, and penetration into new markets.


PARCO is seeking applications for the following position:


Qualifications and Competencies:


Minimum 16 years of education in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or specialization in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Energy Economics will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analytics and forecasting techniques
  • Understanding of crude oil supply chain and refinery operations
  • SAP IS-Oil and MS Excel / data analysis tools proficiency
  • Effective coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under time-sensitive and operationally critical environments


Experience:


  • Upto 8 years of relevant experience in crude planning, refinery operations, supply chain analytics, or oil & gas marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Linear Programming (LP) models and refinery planning tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP IS-Oil is highly desirable.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with Technical Services Department (TSD)-MCR to prepare/review Optimal Crude Oil Blend (OCB) for crude import planning.
  • Conduct analytics on the Linear Programming (LP) model for M&C management as required.
  • Record and reconcile crude oil imports in SAP IS-Oil.
  • Coordinate with Operations to optimize KMK operations during cargo discharging.
  • Perform data analytics on crude oil import data.
  • Prepare price forecasts for use in the LP model and perform back-casting of data.
  • Coordinate with third-party surveyors during loading and discharging of crude oil cargoes.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in crude planning and supply chain processes.
