Position Summary

Walker Lane Mining Company LLC is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Crushing Operator Lead to oversee daily crushing plant operations and lead crusher personnel. This role supports safe, efficient production while ensuring compliance with MSHA regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and oversee primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing circuits

· Monitor plant throughput, equipment performance, and production targets

· Operate loaders, skid steers, excavators, and other mobile equipment

· Manage stockpiles and material flow

· Train and mentor Crusher Operators

· Conduct inspections and routine equipment checks

· Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues

· Coordinate with Maintenance, Process, and Laboratory teams

· Maintain production records and shift reports

· Promote a strong safety culture and MSHA compliance

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED required

· Minimum 3 years of crushing plant experience

· Experience with crushers, conveyors, screens, and related equipment

· Experience operating heavy mobile equipment

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Basic computer and reporting skills

· Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred

· Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred

· Ability to obtain and maintain MSHA training
