Crypto Forensic Expert(Senior Consultant)

Job Description / About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Crypto Forensic Expert – Senior Consultant to perform in-depth analysis of cryptographic and crypto storage applications. The role involves analyzing cryptocurrencies, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting forensic investigations, and supporting law enforcement agencies (LEAs) with encrypted data and forensic reporting.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with hands-on expertise in crypto forensics tools and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine artifacts from cryptographic and crypto storage systems.
• Perform analytics on cryptocurrencies using existing tools and develop bespoke forensic tools.
• Identify weaknesses in cryptography systems and suggest improvements.
• Assist LEAs with encrypted data analysis and investigations.
• Conduct forensic analysis and document processes, procedures, and reports.
• Maintain standard evidence handling procedures.
• Utilize knowledge of authentication, encryption mechanisms, and security protocols.
• Develop in-house tools, scripts, and automation for forensic investigations.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in crypto forensics.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Chainalysis, TRM Lab, Merkle Science, Breadcrumbs, Crystal Intelligence, Arkham Intelligence, etc.
• B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MBA/PG from a recognized university/institution.
• Industry certifications like CEH, OSCP, CCFI, CCI, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS, HTTPS, PGP, AES, DES, SSH, SCP, Kerberos, IPSEC, and TCP/IP & UDP/IP networking layers.
• Expertise in token technologies, PKI, OAuth, SAML, and programming/security in C, C++, x86, ARM, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
