Cryptocurrency Marketing Manager – KOL & Content Focus

An early-stage, well-funded cryptocurrency startup (name under wraps) is preparing for public launch. We are assembling a lean, high-performance marketing team. We seek a marketing professional who understands crypto community dynamics and can independently manage influencer partnerships and sponsored content channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencer (KOL) Management: Identify, outreach, negotiate rates, and manage paid campaigns with crypto KOLs across Twitter, YouTube, and Telegram. Review deliverables, track performance (reach, engagement), and maintain a structured KOL database with pricing and results.
  • Sponsored Content Coordination: Identify crypto news sites, newsletters, and blogs accepting sponsored posts. Write or coordinate ghostwriters to produce clear, compelling articles that explain our project without unnecessary jargon. Submit for publication and track views/clicks/shares.
  • Marketing Team Development: As an early marketing hire, help define roles (community manager, content writer, designer), participate in interviews, and establish basic campaign tracking processes.
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor trends, memes, and competitor activity. Advise on campaign timing based on market sentiment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid cryptocurrency knowledge (Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, stablecoins). Practical experience buying, sending, and storing crypto (exchange vs. private wallet).
  • Demonstrated experience with at least 2–3 paid crypto influencer campaigns (provide examples).
  • Experience writing or placing at least one sponsored crypto article on a publication or newsletter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a remote, low-supervision environment.

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Existing relationships with small/mid-sized crypto KOLs.
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Telegram/Discord community management experience.
  • Familiarity with reach, CTR, and conversion metrics.
