Minimum
Qualification:
High school diploma/GED, Georgia P.O.S.T. certification, and two (2) years of supervisory custodial experience in a criminal justice or correctional system, one (1) year of which experience is at the lower level CSM Correctional Lieutenant (PSP195) or position equivalent; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level CSM Correctional Captain (PSM140) or position equivalent.

Preferred
Qualification:
  • Strong working knowledge of the facility designs, layouts, etc.

  • Prior experiences with Supervising day to day Operations, managing staff, and creating schedules

  • Prior experiences on properly Distributing Important Bulletins

  • Prior management skills

  • Experience with preparing reports, maintaining records, and completing necessary paperwork

  • Strong Communication Skills

    • Note:
    This position also requires you to remain on call and be prepared to work extended hours or manage operations during emergencies. This position will be in the Over Watch Unit and is located at State Offices South at Tift College in Forsyth Georgia. This is also for position number 00106378
