Austin Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to support our growing HVAC service department. This position plays a key role in coordinating technicians, scheduling service calls, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
We are looking for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing high call volume while coordinating real-time technician schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound service calls and schedule HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation appointments
- Dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and job priority
- Monitor and adjust daily schedules to maximize technician efficiency
- Communicate with customers regarding arrival times and scheduling updates
- Perform outbound follow-up calls on unscheduled estimates and service opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer records within scheduling/CRM software
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years Customer Service or Dispatch experience
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home service industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience with scheduling or dispatch software (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
