Summary:
The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) plays a dual role in driving sales growth and supporting clinical success. This position bridges sales strategy and in-field execution, and partners with the sales team to expand market share for ArthroFree®, the first FDA-cleared wireless camera for minimally invasive surgery. The CSS supports evaluations, in-service training, and case coverage, ensuring seamless product adoption and long-term customer satisfaction.
An ideal candidate is both sales-minded and clinically strong. They are comfortable influencing purchase decisions, building surgeon confidence in the OR, and representing Lazurite’s innovative technology to hospitals and surgical centers nationwide. The CSS contributes directly to revenue growth by supporting field sales and converting clinical evaluations into committed accounts.
Responsibilities/ Requirements:
- Partner with the sales team to plan, prepare, and execute clinical evaluations that drive product adoption and conversion to purchase.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and effective use of Lazurite technologies while reinforcing our value proposition and differentiators. Deliver product training and education to field sales and clinical customers.
- Deliver engaging product training and education to field sales and clinical customers to strengthen technical proficiency and sales confidence.
- Provide comprehensive clinical support before, during, and after minimally invasive surgical procedures, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to proactively support sales strategy and market positioning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, and clinical staff to build brand loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent Lazurite at medical conferences, workshops, and industry events, contributing to lead generation and overall sales growth.
- Collaborate with field sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new accounts, provide clinical expertise during sales presentations, and strengthen marketing initiatives.
- Support the design and execution of clinical studies or data-driven projects that enhance product credibility and sales messaging.
- Provide seamless post-evaluation and post-installation support, ensuring customer satisfaction, smooth onboarding, and retention through the complete sales cycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree OR 5 years of operating room experience as a surgical technologist or Registered Nurse with experience in arthroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of minimally invasive procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Experience delivering effective product training and education to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines, and technical challenges.
- Willingness to travel frequently to support customer evaluations, medical conferences, and other events as needed.
- Proficiency in using technology and software tools, including the Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and HubSpot.
