CSSD Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Operate and maintain autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and CSSD guidelines.
• Manage inventory of sterile supplies and instruments, ensuring availability and proper rotation.
• Collaborate with operating theater and clinical staff to prioritize instrument needs.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
• Follow hospital policies and international standards (e.g., JCI, DHA guidelines).

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Sterilization Technology/ CSSD or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CSSD Technician in a hospital setting.
• DHA License or Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection control standards.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English
