CST Team Lead/ Licensed Clinical Therapist

Position Overview

Wesley Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Support Team (CST) Team Lead to oversee and support our CST program in Asheville, NC. This position is responsible for clinical and administrative oversight of the team, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with North Carolina Medicaid standards and agency expectations.

This is a hybrid role requiring a combination of in-office and community-based service delivery as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual outpatient therapy
• Provide direct supervision and leadership to CST staff, including QPs and Associate Professionals
• Facilitate and lead weekly CST team meetings
• Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with NC Medicaid, LME/MCO, and agency standards
• Monitor documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and clinical quality
• Support staff with crisis response planning and interventions
• Review and approve person-centered plans and service documentation
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
• Collaborate with community providers, referral sources, and natural supports
• Participate in audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field
• Fully licensed or license-eligible in North Carolina (LCMHC, LCSW, LCMHCA, LCSWA preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adults or children with mental health and/or substance use needs
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of NC Medicaid CST service definitions and documentation standards

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
