(Full-time/Long-term Internship)
Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.
Approximate Duration: May 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Basic Function of the Position:
The role of the marketing intern works across several marketing disciplines at CTA assisting with overall marketing strategy, planning and execution. This includes supporting membership marketing campaigns, event marketing, social media and content initiatives, as well as onsite support at CES®. The intern will also assist with basic analytics and reporting to help optimize campaign performance.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in executing membership marketing campaigns, including member engagement, prospect outreach and program promotions.

Support the marketing of CTA events (in-person and virtual), including CES, by coordinating with creative and web teams on promotional content and assets.

Assist in drafting, scheduling and publishing social media content across CTA and CES channels.

Support onsite social media efforts at CES, including capturing and posting short-form video content (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, short-form video platforms).

Monitor social media engagement and assist in identifying opportunities to join conversations and amplify content.

Help track and report on campaign performance, including social media metrics, email performance and content engagement.

Assist with content creation including newsletters, promotional copy and member highlight features.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and messaging.

Assist with day-to-day marketing needs including copywriting, marketing operations and campaign planning.

Provide general support for marketing initiatives as needed.
Work Experience:

Work and/or internship experience in an office environment; marketing/communications/PR work preferred.
Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience – Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred.

Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must demonstrate ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Must have excellent communication skills, be customer/team oriented, and be able to work with all staff levels.

Must have a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.

Basic understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools preferred.
Additional Information:
