QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or a minimum of 3 years of related office experience, with school office experience preferred.

Expert knowledge of computers and software applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps.

High level of experience and competence of on-line data management system(s).

Ability to handle confidential information.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibility of employee to obtain and maintain all training(s), certificate(s), approval(s), etc. and provide documentation to the business office before expiration date of said document(s).

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Required to have a physical presence at the designated job site each scheduled work day.

Must have regular and reliable job attendance, performance and the physical ability to do the job.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Complete CTE reports and maintain accurate data in the computerized Career Technical Education Information System (count day, end of year, etc.).

Maintain CTE enrollment lists.
-
Maintain CTE data in PowerSchool Student Information System and prepare reports (enrollments, attendance, grades).
-
Direct, supervise, and evaluate CTE Office Assistant position.
-
Assist with coordinating sophomore presentations and student visits.
-
Assist with Dual Enrollment and Early Middle College application process.
-
Prepare annual CTE Transportation Schedule and coordinate with transportation departments on special requests and changes throughout the year.
-
Assist with research and data analysis on special projects.
-
Assist with CTE-related scholarships, including George Haines, and coordinate with instructors on student awards/recognition.

Assist with preparation and tracking of consortium-related contracts, agreements and

Gather and disseminate information to local districts (enrollment data, attendance, grades, master schedules, home school releases, etc.).

Assist with coordinating Advisory Committee combined meetings, rosters, invitations, and minutes requirements.

Send information to parents (conference dates, grades, attendance, PS information, etc.).

Prepare applications for State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs), track attendance, and submit final information to ISD SCECH Coordinator.

Assist with state level reports and final reports for grants.
-
Maintain filing system including purging out-of-date information and storing required data.
-
Prepare and process handbooks for CTE programs.
-
Coordinate state-required student assessments.
-
Develop marketing materials and assist with maintaining CTE website and social media platforms.
-
Coordinate with instructors on student awards/recognitions and prepare certificates for students.
-
Responsible for reviewing and preparing CTE financial-related documents, ensuring proper coding and compliance with ISD requirements.

Track instructor certifications and annual authorizations.

Assist with state-required student follow-up surveys, including submittal of final report to State.

Assist in preparing CTE Department for opening school year (IEPs, class rosters, textbooks, annual staff meeting, handbooks, etc.).

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: A 260-day position. Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Board of Education.
