Cube Van Driver - 16ft Cube Van

Key Responsibilities:
1. Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
2. Interact with customers in a professional manner
3. Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
4. Drive safety in inclement weather
5. Perform daily pre and post trip vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicles
- Previous experience in shuttle driving or delivery driver roles is a plus
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of three years current driving experience, clean driving record.
• Abide by all Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds plus bending and twisting
• Work well independently
• Open and transparent communication
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps
• Able to lift packages up to 70 pounds and bend and twist as necessary.
• Must possess current DOT Medical Card
• Must have clean MVR; no tickets or accidents.
• Drivers load their own trucks.
• Must load/unload freight using a manual pallet jack - this is not dock deliveries
• Must use liftgate to get freight to the ground to deliver to customer

Summary:
As a Cube Van Driver for a 16ft Cube Van, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to their designated locations around Downtown Dallas and surrounding area. Your core skill in driving, combined with premium expertise in commercial driving, will ensure timely deliveries and adherence to all transportation regulations. Your relevant experience in shuttle driving, delivery services, and mechanical knowledge will be valuable assets in this role. With a focus on box truck and van driving, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our transportation services.
