Culinary Assistant / Server - Full Time - 615a-215p Shift - Moorhead Care Center

Eventide Senior Living Communities in south Moorhead, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server to work full time 615a-215p in the Care Center. Includes every-other-weekend & holiday rotation.

The Culinary Assistant / Server will provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Essential Functions

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Follows portion control size standards.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
• Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16-17.95 for Culinary Assistants per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
