Custodial / Events Support

the Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Custodial / Events Support person to maintain cleanliness and support event setup at an independent private school. This role involves performing janitorial duties and helping with various tasks for events.

The typical schedule will be Thursday & Friday 130pm to 10pm, and Saturday 8 hours but they change depending on the events.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation
• Support event setup and teardown, including setting up tables and chairs and equipment as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, and public spaces
• Assist with all general tasks for events.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained

Requirements

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
