Custodial Facilitator

Definition:

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of all Renewal buildings and grounds. Responsibilities focus on coordinating with Case Management staff in the selection of reentrants for work details, overseeing the cleaning details, as well as providing the necessary instruction and overall supervision of routine cleaning duties. This position is responsible for supplying equipment and supplies necessary to maintain the cleanliness of Renewal, Inc. and Renewal Treatment, Inc. facilities and grounds. Individual will inspect and identify problems and determine best way to correct them. Individual will prepare documents in accordance with contractual and accreditation requirements in regards to reentrants and facilities. Responsibilities also include instruction of the reentrant population in the performance of their routine cleaning duties.

Eligibility Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

Knowledge and skills as they relate to the general custodial services. Individual should be able to follow directions and also learn independently. Excellent written and oral communication required. Must be able to work independently and in a group.

A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years' relevant experience required. Some college course work or post secondary trade or vocational school preferred. Experience in corrections is preferred. A valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a Act 33/34 clearance required.
