Custodial Team Member

We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of one of our nonprofit agency partners for a Custodial Team Member! Interested candidates must meet AbilityOne Program criteria to be considered for this opportunity.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Custodial Team Member, you will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service possible, playing a key role in ensuring that buildings and shared spaces are ready to be enjoyed by all.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 25-30 hours per week.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces

• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed

• Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards

• May have some company travel as scheduled to various locations-transportation provided

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred

• Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques

• Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required

• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors

• Must be able to secure Military Base access

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
