Custodial Worker

About The Role:

The days/hours for this position are: Wednesday - Sunday 10pm - 6:30am

The Quad Cities International Airport is looking for an eager applicant for the Custodial Worker position. Under
the
direction
of
the
Custodial Supervisor,
the
Custodial Worker
is responsible for performing cleaning and routine maintenance of the terminal building and any areas immediately adjacent thereto.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years
  of
  related custodial/maintenance
  experience preferred.
• Ability to learn FAA regulations and other federal, state and local regulations that affect maintenance and operations of an airport.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to communicate effectively in order to interact with customers, tenants and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to use handheld and ground radios to effectively communicate and report physical location at all times, especially when inside restricted areas of airport grounds.
