Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies. The cleaner follows safety guidelines, reports maintenance issues, and ensures all assigned areas are cleaned to company standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- General cleaning: perform routine cleaning such as but not limited to policing, emptying trash
and recycle, vacuuming, spot cleaning walls, sweeping & mopping, furniture, and fixtures,
drapes, blinds, and interior glass. - Restroom cleaning: Using a germicide, clean and sanitize toilets and urinals, spot clean walls
and partitions, and clean and rinse sinks and counters. Using a standard glass cleaner, clean
mirrors, glass, and stainless steel. Also, responsible for dusting, sweeping, emptying trash,
restocking supplies and mopping floors. - Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent customer service, good organization,
and high levels of energy and endurance. - Other duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- No experience required, but helpful.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Pass fingerprinting and criminal background check.
- Pass preemployment drug screen.
- Ability to perform tasks that require physical movement, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to use or receive training on automatic & mechanical equipment.
