PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our store locations. The Custodian will perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and maintenance duties to support a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees. This role includes a focus on maintenance tasks to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Cleaning and Sanitation:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
- Dust and clean surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Any additional cleaning and sanitation as assigned/needed
Maintenance Tasks:
- Conduct routine inspections of the store to identify maintenance needs and notify Regional Custodian.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and work orders.
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Regional Custodian.
General Duties:
- Ensure the store is always clean and presentable.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with the set up and dismantling of displays and fixtures as needed.
- Support store operations by performing additional cleaning tasks as requested by the Store Manager.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks and repair techniques preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.25 - $19.00 per hour
