Custodian

We are looking for a responsible custodianto maintain facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.

Responsibilities

Ensure the premises cleaned each day by:

• Taking out trash
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipe mirrors and windows
• Reporting damages to superiors
• Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs, moving furniture, etc.)

Requirements and skills

• Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and skills.
• Be able to lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Dedication to your job and pride in your work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
