We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an essential role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and customers. Responsibilities: - Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed - Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed - Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards Qualifications: - Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
