Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain floor care by buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors to preserve their appearance and safety
• Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution
• Use proper safety procedures during cleaning tasks to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
• Provide porter services including moving supplies or furniture and supporting event setups or cleanups when required

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and general facilities maintenance
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $19.02 - $26.79 per hour
