Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs as needed
• Follow safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Support industrial cleaning projects and facilities maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of cleanliness

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or related facilities maintenance roles
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning practices
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout shifts
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning motions for extended periods
• Basic understanding of safety protocols related to custodial work and facility operations
