Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
• Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking pristine
• Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces regularly
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and touch-up painting in residential or commercial settings
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and procedures
• Support industrial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Keep detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
